I just used Miami Movers For Less for the second time. Just like the first time they were awesome and I will definitely use them if/when I move again. They were extremely professional and they were extremely care fast with the packing. Everything was moved without a scratch! I cannot express how happy I was. Thanks to Murat and his crew who were fantastic! You guys represented your company extremely well!

PLEASE READ FINE PRINT OR BETTER YET GET AN ATTORNEY!!! I used this company for a move and they said it was insured what they do not tell you is not everything and so what ever they break they will find a line in the contract to cover them for repaying or replacing it. They broke my furniture I bought not even a year old from Ikea and after waiting a month told me they are not giving me anything and truly anything less than what it cost to replace it would not be acceptable but they did worse and just broke it and like O' well it was cheap- BE WARE! Secondly I paid them upfront in advance and set day and time parameters and they came at a time that luckily I happen to be running late and had not left town yet so I was able to receive my furniture but they came on a day I told them not to and had in writing now I am glad i was there as they probably had something written in fine print to disregard what was discussed and written and charged me extra for each they held it past the day they tried to deliver. I have another move for furniture for a 3rd home and I not only will not use them I will hire people myself and do my own move how .... is that to pay for someone to move your stuff to break it with recourse- Never again. If you going to get a move write it on the contract and have them sign it to insure any and everything they touch, wrap, move and for it to supersede what is on the pre-printed contract- Save your self from MIAMI - MOVERSFORLESS INC. AND and competitors.

These guys were great. On time, very fast, and extremely professional. We had to move kitchen cabinets from downtown Miami area to West Broward. Setting up the Saturday morning move just a couple of days before was seamless. They confirmed the day before, let us know when they were on the way and if they were being delayed by traffic. On delivery end, they unloaded, stored and stacked everything. So easy and reasonably priced. Use them!!!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Wow, where do I begin...Let me start by saying I only use my yelp account to write good/great reviews for places. But for this one occasion I am forced to have to write this so that no one else will have to go thru what we went thru with this move from MIAMI to NY. I believe the incident I went thru is not a "one time thing" that happened to me but something that happens often if not all the time. I also believe any good reviews written about this moving company was possible done by the company or friends of the company itself. As it is "IMPOSSIBLE" that these movers gave anyone good or even mediocore service. If I could give this move zero stars I absolutely would. When this move was booked it was seamless. From that point on downhill. For starters the move was scheduled 8am to 10am and had to be between those times as the apt in MIAMI we were moving out of could only reserve that time for us. They showed up at 12:30pm with no care in the world and no indication of being late. Not a phone call or heads up. Which put me in a tight position as I had to beg the management office of the building I was moving out make an exception. When the movers came we were told we would get 24 hours notice when the move was expected to arrive in NY so we could prepare. I was called at 8am the morning of telling me the move would be between 2pm-4pm same day. At 3:45pm I had not heard from the moving company or the drivers with an indication of lateness. So I called at that time I was told the move wouldnt be there til "later" but they could not give me a time and kept transferring me from person to person. In which you cannot understand one thing they are saying with their huge accents. I proceeded to tell them they needed to be there by 5pm as our freight elevator closed. I then called the sales rep who I booked this with and he started asking me questions as to who was the driver. In which I replied" you booked the driver you should know who you sent" he did not and his answer was "ma'am we have 50 deliveries out" as if it was my job to keep track of his business. Anyway I gave him his own drivers number and he could not get a hold of him either. 5pm passes,6pm passes,7pm passes, 8pm passes, I leave. Sure enough at 9pm I get a phone call saying "hey we are here" So i begin to tell the driver we cannot move at the time. And asked why so late. He basically chuckled at me and said "you know NY traffic". (remind you its impossible to sit in 5 hours of NY traffic.) He then said he could put in storage for us for a week or 2 but that we would have to pay for everyday in storage. Which i didnt understand as it wasnt my fault they delivered so late. Finally the result was we were bullied to go meet them at 9:30pm to do an illegal move in our building. The delivery men were unprofessional and proceeded to unpack pissed off and ripping the packaging off our furniture. As if we had inconvenienced them. To top it all off - they broke a very expensive coffee table and were not even alittle remorseful. I am in the process of trying to call their claims dept. to pay for the table but I am pretty sure I will know the outcome. As everyone in this company is incompetent.

I personally used them on a move we had a couple of weeks ago. They were extremely professional and very punctual. They handle all my items with the utmost care while efficiently completing the move in the allotted time estimated. They were fast, helpful and hardworking. I will definitely use them again!

I don't even know where to start with the disaster that is this business... Move For Less. Don't fall for it! They will quote you one price over the phone and then add things while your stuff is on their truck. They don't properly document your move and they will carelessly damage your stuff.

    They:

    * Arrived over an hour late and had no idea how to get to my apartment calling me for directions while in route.
    * We agreed on 2 guys @ $65/hour and he showed up with 3 guys leaving me no choice of accepting 3 @ $80/hour.
    * Originally quoted me at $65/hour for EVERYTHING.... Labor, taxes, tolls, mileage, blankets and gas. (Total should have been $320)
    * In the end, they actually charged me $515! ($320 move, $65 for TAPE, $100 travel fee and $30 for some unknown fee) Mind you, the move was only 4 miles away.
    * Anthony the lead guy went missing a few times for a smoke break while the other 2 were moving boxes.
    * Scratched the side of a brand new bookshelf. When I pointed out the scratches, his answer was "well, I wrapped everything in blankets".
    * The other two movers were working is slow motion and repeatedly had to be told what to do by Anthony.
    * Didn't put my bed back together the way it was when he took it apart... I still have the extra pieces in a box and the screws are now stripped so I won't be able to assemble it properly again.
    * Ripped the bottom of my couch and broke off one of the glider tabs on the legs.
    * Left boxes and tape outside my apartment where their truck was parked.

After everything was moved into the new apt Anthony went back outside for what I assumed was to get my copy of the paperwork. After a few minutes I went outside to check on them and they were gone. I was never provided any documentation for this entire transaction.

I have called them numerous times to resolve the issue of being overcharged and the damaged furniture. Robert never returns phone calls. Manny says he can't help because he just answers the phone. He has referred me to David who is supposedly a Supervisor. I have spoken with David a few times who says he will look into it and contact me before the end of the day. And this has been going on for a couple of weeks. Move date was May 31, 2011. I'm still waiting for a resolution. I highly recommend you choose a different moving company. I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone.

I admit They were careful packing and moving my belongings but moved incredibly slow. Over 8 hrs to move a 3 bedroom condo to 3 bedroom townhouse that was less than 5 miles away! My biggest complaint is that the driver failed to tell me in advance i would be charged extra for the tape used to secure their blankets onto the furniture. So I was charged an additional 260 for 22 rolls of tape (packing tape not the shrink wrap which most movers use and i own!) and like 8 boxes (the movers packed all loose items like my hamper, lamp, detergent, etc. without even asking me 1st). Who does that??? After a heated argument with the driver and his son I was forced to pay because they held my tv hostage on their truck and gave me 10 minutes to make up my mind. This by far has been the most frustrating moving experience I've had so far. Spoke with customer service and manager still waiting for a response. I honestly feel like I've been taken advantage of. Im a single parent on a budget guys, jeez!!! Grand total $900+. Thank you movers for less. I should've just let them kidnap my TV.

I have been trying to get the word out about a moving company and have not been able to find a starting point....a negative word! We moved from Coral Springs to Parkland last June and used a company by the name of Move for Less. The move was approximately 3 miles. Three men seemed to be doing an alright job but wrapping items. I left our old home to make a trip to get the movers lunch and I came home to see them literally shoving our $6000 dining room table through the door with no padding and all legs in tact ( they should have been removed). When asked why, they informed me with very broken English "it will be fine"! When they arrived at the new home and set up the table it had huge gashes in the top. They informed me that I would have to call the claims department. I did and they informed me they would email me over forms to be filled out. While waiting for the forms one of the men asked me to settle the bill since everything was done. When I went to give them a American Express they told me the credit card machine was not working. Convenient wouldn't you agree since I would have disputed charge! I asked to speak to the manager and he agreed after 5 minutes that he would take only a debit card! Once I received forms I completed and sent them back within in 24 hours. Since the day I have been fighting with them to have someone come to weigh the table as they insist on giving us 60 cents a pound on a 100 pound table....the table weighs at least 350 pounds. They will not make any allowances to weigh the table. We have had the damage appraised by a carpenter and it is over $500! What can I do? I have not excepted their offer of $60 but fear I should as nothing will be done. I would like to make sure people see their negative reviews!
NOOOOOOO stars! Dishonest to the MAX!

Robert, the manager is a real asshole and after these folks took my stuff, they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered so I sat around waiting during Thanksgiving week and couldn't leave. Of course, they didn't tell me that they couldn't schedule a delivery until AFTER they had my stuff. When I asked to inquire, this prick started yelling at me on the phone and telling me that he was not going to "console" me by telling what I wanted to hear. So much for customer service. I never HEARD a moving company that doesn't keep in touch with his movers and on that note, I wonder if I'll ever see my stuff again. DON'T USE THESE ASSHOLES; not worth it.
