This company came highly recommended from a friend who had also needed to move from Miami to Key West. This was a short notice move and I called on 12/26/13 to do a move from Coral Gables to Key West. I was told they could do it on 12/28/13, we were thrilled. They arrived promptly at 7:45am and got busy. Sergio, the main guy was very professional and helpful. The traffic to Key West was horrible and ended up taking over 4.5 hours. You pay the hour, mileage and fuel so that is something to consider with traffic. The minute we arrived, once again they got busy unloading. They packed our storage unit perfectly. It was seamless and we couldn't be happier. As with any moving company, you have to ask questions and read the fine print. I highly recommend this company and Sergio and his partner.

I had these guys to move me from two into one bedroom apartment. I was pleasantly surprised that they did it within an estimated time, even though we had to stop by at the storage. These guys are hard-working and nice! Would use them again.

I had my items stored in a storage facility owned by this company for over a year. Last month I needed to move it from Miami to NYC. With a short call I was able to schedule everything and received my items in about 10 days. Only issue I that it took a 3 days longer that expected. However, service was great.

Needed to move a few furniture items from a storage facility to my apartment. Movers showed up on time, moved the furniture, and even put it together for me. Job was done well and in short period of time. Great job folks!

What I liked the most about this guys is that they diligently packed everything. I did have to pay quite some $ for packing material, but if you care about your loved furniture items, that are one of a kind and hand made, would you really care about how much a packing tape? :)They also took few of my furniture items and put it in their own storage. I was told its just off Miami Gardens exit off 95. Very convenient, since I will be moving in just a few month out of Florida and this way I have everything done and ready to go. Thanks guys for doing such a great job beyond your normal working hours. I will be calling in a couple of month when I have more solid plans on my future move. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

I had a local move within Miami, Florida. When I ran a search for movers, they were the first ones that came up. They also turned out to be the most cost-effective.

The manager, Rey Silva, kept in constant contact with me. I never once had to pick up the phone and call them to find out what was going on, they kept me up to date with everything! I was a little skeptical at the low quote price, but when I spoke with Mr. de Silva and gave an itemization of what the movers would be transporting, the final quote was spot on. No additional fees or hidden charges. He even waived the fuel fee for me.

Mr. de Silva told me to call him back on the Friday prior to the move (which was on a Sunday) to ensure everything was a go. When I spoke with him and confirmed the original time we'd set, he then went above and beyond to send me the direct contact information of everyone who'd be involved in the move on Sunday, just to put my mind at ease.

On moving day, the movers were scheduled to arrive at 1pm. I was contacted by the manager, Muran, around noon to confirm that they were, in fact, going to be there within the scheduled time. When he mentioned one of the guys assigned to the job had hurt his leg, Muran said he'd stand in. I half-expected this would lead to some kind of hustle, but it didn't.

The movers arrived promptly at 1:55pm, exactly within the hour window they said they'd be arriving at. I'd packed everything myself, but there were some miscellaneous items that I didn't think needed to be boxed. The two movers courteously showed me how to pack the rest of the things, and had the van loaded within a half hour.

Because we were ahead of schedule (the minimum time they book for is three hours), I asked the movers to make a pit stop along the way to a former neighbor's house to drop off donations. Not only did they do so, but they didn't complain or try to charge me extra. They even carried the donations into my neighbor's garage around the back.

We made the storage facility with two hours to spare. My things were unloaded and put away again, within a half hour. The whole move, including the side trip, took two hours total. At the end of the move, Muran even knocked down the price of the hourly rate for me. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I'm certainly going to be using them again.

I had to move contents of my storage facility to my house. I called movers on the same day and they said that they had a truck in the area. It took them just a under 3 hours to complete the whole job, including unpacking and putting furniture together.
Service was great and they did it in estimated timeframe of 3 hours.

Overall, I had a good experience with Move for Less on the move of my belongings from Deerfield Beach, Florida to Los Angeles. I booked the job with Rey de Silva, and he was helpful and thorough. We itemized all the items to be moved, and when the movers arrived at my condo in Deerfield, I had one more box and the computer desk was far bigger and heavier than the original estimate, so the cost of the move was a little over $100 more than the original estimate, but still very reasonable. The pickup crew called from the road to inform me that they were running about an hour early, and they showed up and got right to work. They were very efficient wrapping my bed and furniture with shrink wrap, and overall did a very good job loading my belongings. I had them store my stuff for 30 days (which was free) and I called them to schedule the move to Los Angeles. They estimated the amount of days it would take, and they got to me sooner than I was expecting. I found a storage unit with 18-wheeler access and the driver called from the road and arrived at the storage facility 5 minutes after I did. There was a crew of only 2 on delivery (there were 3 guys on pickup) and it was a little slow getting everything unloaded, but overall, I was very pleased with the performance of the driver and his assistant. They talked me into paying for 4 of the blankets that were used on my bed and couch, and I understood why they recommended it and did what they suggested. There have been some negative reviews of this company, which concerned me, but my experience with them was positive and I'm happy with the move of my stuff to Los Angeles. I recommend this company based on my personal experience.
